The Department for Exiting the EU is working with officials across government and undertaking a programme of analytical work to assess the economic impacts of exiting the European Union across a range of scenarios.<\/p>
As part of our analysis we are looking at more than 50 sectors within the areas of goods; services; financial services; network industries; and agriculture and fisheries as well as cross-cutting regulations. This will inform the UK's position for the negotiations with our EU partners.<\/p>
However, Parliament has asked the Government to protect information that could undermine the UK's negotiating position and the Government will respect this.<\/p>

The Department has not received any specific representations from Monitor regarding increasing the number of training places for doctors and nurses.<\/p>

<\/strong><\/p> <\/p> Health Education England (HEE) is responsible for workforce planning for the National Health Service and as part of that process liaise with all arms length bodies, including Monitor, individual healthcare providers and key stakeholders regards medical and non medical staffing requirements going forward.<\/p> <\/p> <\/p> <\/p> The Department set up HEE to deliver a better health and healthcare workforce for England. HEE is responsible for ensuring a secure workforce supply for the future balancing need against demand, taking into account factors such as the age profile of the existing workforce, the impact of technology, and new drugs.<\/p> <\/p>"}
