We meet to discuss progress on the programme and mitigate any risks in the delivery of the new rolling stock.<\/p> <\/p> The first, class 800 Bi-Mode trains were introduced onto the Great Western Main Line (GWML) on the 16th October 2017. This met the revised schedule for train introduction that was agreed to take account of the delays in the GWML Electrification Programme. The subsequent delivery of new rolling stock on the GWML has remained broadly in line with this revised schedule. To date 24 trains have been accepted for passenger service by GWR. Once modernisation on the GWML is complete, these new trains will help increase the number of seats between London and Wales by 40% at morning peak times.<\/p> <\/p> <\/p>"}
