Intelligence and information on child criminal exploitation is collected at individual force level and Merseyside Police will hold the relevant information. At a national level, the National Crime Agency (NCA) is responsible for producing a national threat assessment on county lines based on information provided by individual forces and Regional Organised Crime Units and this includes child criminal exploitation. The next national threat assessment by the NCA is due to be published very shortly.<\/p>

The Government has firmly committed to protecting workers\u2019 rights, and to extending those rights when that is the right choice for the UK. The European Union (Withdrawal) Bill will ensure that workers\u2019 rights enjoyed under EU law will continue to be available in UK law after we have left the EU.<\/p>

However, we do not need to be part of the EU to have strong protections for workers. We will always have enough prison places for offenders committed to custody by the courts. We are investing £1.3 billion to transform our prison estate and deliver up to 10,000 new places. This includes pushing ahead with plans to close or redevelop older prisons and open new accommodation in this parliament, however, no decisions have been made about future prison closures beyond those which have already been announced.<\/p>
