Following the Independent Breast Screening Review, the Government has committed to making sure that the breast screening offer to women is clear, reflected in public-facing materials, and implemented consistently across all breast screening services, including in the policy and related programme guidance and training.<\/p>
The breast screening service specification 2019/20 will set out the national standards for every breast screening provider service for the whole of England. This service specification is based on recommendations from the UK National Screening Committee and reflect clinical advice from Public Health England. The standards are used in contracts that are held locally between NHS England regions and breast screening providers.<\/p>
Further, NHS England asked Professor Sir Mike Richards to lead a review of the current screening programmes, including breast cancer screening. The review will provide recommendations to improve uptake of screening, improve delivery, learn lessons from recent screening incidents, and modernise and expand diagnostic capacity. The Government is completely committed to playing our part in strengthening grassroots cricket in this country, and are working with Sport England and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to help improve the prospects for the game at all levels. Since 2009, Sport England has invested £100,070,150 of Government and National Lottery funding into the game of cricket including investing in new and existing cricket facilities, boosting participation in the game and attracting people of all ages from diverse backgrounds to start or continue playing cricket.<\/p>

European Social Fund (ESF) projects aim to increase labour market participation, promote social inclusion and develop the skills of the potential and existing workforce, including amongst the most vulnerable people in society.<\/p>

The Chancellor announced in August and October 2016 that the Government will guarantee EU projects agreed before we leave the EU, to provide more certainty for UK organisations over the course of EU Exit. In July 2018, the Chief Secretary laid a Written Ministerial Statement (HCWS926) extending this guarantee to provide further stability for UK organisations in a \u2018no-deal\u2019 scenario.<\/p>
The guarantee now covers all projects that would have been funded by the EU under the 2014-2020 programme period, including all European Regional Development Fund projects.<\/p>

It is for the governing body of a school (or an academy trust, in the case of academies) to decide whether there should be a school uniform policy, and if so, what it should be. It is also for the governing body to decide how the uniform should be sourced.<\/p>
In 2015, the Department commissioned the \u2018Cost of School Uniform Survey\u2019 which provides the most recent information the Department holds on the cost of school uniform. The findings of the survey are available here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/436576/RR474_Cost_of_school_uniform.pdf<\/a>.<\/p> The cost of uniform should not act as a barrier to obtaining a good school place. No school uniform should be so expensive as to leave pupils or their families feeling unable to apply to, or attend, a school of their choice. The current guidance on uniform sets out that a school should ensure that its school uniform policy is fair and reasonable for all its students.<\/p>
