Defra takes the issue of puppy smuggling seriously. It is an abhorrent trade which causes suffering to puppies and puts the health of pets and people in the UK at risk. We continue to work closely with Dogs Trust to address this issue and understand the evolving trade.<\/p>

It is for local authorities to assess the level of parking required for new developments and to set local parking standards.
The Government has made clear in the National Planning Policy Framework the factors that authorities should take into account when setting local parking standards for residential and non-residential development.
These include considering the accessibility of the development; the type, mix and use of development; the availability of and opportunities for public transport; local car ownership levels; and the need to ensure an adequate provision for spaces for charging plug-in and other ultra-low emission vehicles.<\/p>"}

From February 2019 to February 2020 for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), the operator of Southern services, the Moving Annual Average Passenger Performance Measure (PPM), which measures trains arriving at their destination within 5 minutes of their scheduled arrival time, was 85.2%. This is a 3.1 point improvement on the previous year. Southern is the best performing of GTR\u2019s brands with a PPM figure of 86.1% for the most recent four-week period. We recognise the important role that Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs) play in schools in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).<\/p>
