\u200bThe UK remains gravely concerned by proposals to demolish the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar which the UN has said could amount to \u2018forcible transfer\u2019, in violation of International Humanitarian Law. Following the decision of the Israeli Supreme Court on 5 September, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office issued a statement with France, Germany, Spain and Italy reiterating our call to the Israeli Government not to go ahead with its plan to demolish the village \u2013 including its school \u2013 and displace its residents. We will continue to raise these concerns with the Israeli authorities.<\/p>"}

The UK is working closely with our international partners to ensure a coordinated response to ensure the effective delivery of medical services across the OPTs. UK financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority helps to enable around 185,000 medical consultations annually.<\/p>
<\/em><\/p>The UK is also a long-term supporter of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which provides basic services, including basic healthcare, to over 800,000 Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, including in East Jerusalem. We have recently provided two financial uplifts to UNRWA, totalling £17 million to the Programme Budget, which will help to alleviate pressures on health services for Palestinian refugees.<\/p>"}
