In it, NHS England stated that it had agreed with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) that both organisations should jointly explore the extent to which NICE may play a role in delivering clinical evidence reviews as part of the process for assessing proposed new investments in future years. This was in response to submissions received during the consultation, calling for the process of reviewing the clinical evidence for proposed new investments in specialised services to be led by NICE.<\/p>

The Government attaches considerable importance to the current review of the World Bank\u2019s Safeguards Framework. We have been strongly engaged throughout both with UK civil society organisations and the World Bank, most recently at UK consultation meetings on 19-20 January. At these, discussions with the Bank included a specific focus on how the safeguards will ensure proper consideration and risk management for vulnerable or disadvantaged groups such as women, the disabled and LGBT people. The Government will continue to raise these points as the review progresses.<\/p>

Whist I do understand the inconvenience the works at London Bridge will cause to all passengers on a number of routes I will not be requiring train companies operating services from Reigate to Redhill stations, or from any other stations, to compensate passengers outside the normal Passenger Charter compensation arrangements.<\/p>
<\/p>
To require operators to provide further compensation would not only set a precedent for every future timetable change that reduced a service to/from a station throughout the duration of essential infrastructure upgrades required to improve our national rail network. It would also put additional strain on the public purse as requiring operators to provide such non contracted compensation would lead to operators seeking additional funds from Government and increasing the cost of all future improvement schemes on our network.<\/p>
<\/p>
I fully recognise that planned changes to train services as a result of engineering works can be inconvenient, but it is often impossible to rebuild and improve our Victorian infrastructure without some impact on services \u2013 sometimes for an extended period. I know Network Rail and train operators work hard to keep disruption to a minimum.<\/p>"}

During financial year (FY) 2013-14, the total cost of the Maritime Reserves' recruitment advertising was £2.16 million. The Maritime Reserves' budget for Reserves recruitment advertising in FY 2014-15 is £2.96 million.<\/p>
The Army's 'More Than Meets The Eye' recruiting campaign is designed to attract applications to both the Regular and Reserve components of the Army. The cost of the Reserve element of the campaign is, therefore, an estimate based on a 50% share of the overall campaign cost. During FY 2013-14, the Army estimates that the cost of advertising for Army Reserve recruitment was £1.882 million. The projected share of the budget to be spent on Army Reserve recruitment advertising in FY 2014-15 is £3.8 million.<\/p>
During FY 2013-14, the total cost of the RAF's Reserve recruitment advertising was £2.52 million. In 2014-15, the RAF's budget for Reserves specific recruitment advertising is £2.14 million.<\/p>
