Officials in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills have been working with those from Cabinet Office to assess the next steps with plotr, which the two Departments supported in its early development stages in 2012.<\/p>

The website provides employers an opportunity to attract young people into careers in their businesses and industries. It does so in an engaging way and fits well with the Inspiration Vision which I announced in September last year: widening the horizons for young people with details of the range of options available as they progress in education. An impressive list of employers is already involved.<\/p>

I have decided to further support plotr to achieve a step change in the site to meet employers' expectations and provide a better user experience for young people. I expect this to provide the springboard for plotr to be entirely funded by employers from the end of this year.<\/p>
