The recommendations are aimed at improving the system to ensure it delivers appropriately skilled seafarers to meet the future needs of an evolving global industry.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Officials at the Department for Transport, including the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, will now work with its stakeholders to implement these recommendations. They will set up a \u2018Seafarers Reform Oversight Group\u2019 to oversee these changes to ensure they move forward with the urgency required to address any shortfalls within the sector.<\/p><p> <\/p>"}
