The Government sees huge potential to grow trade with US states by promoting UK business, tackling barriers, and attracting investment.<\/p>
Building on Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) concluded last year with Indiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina, the Government is actively engaging with further states, including Oklahoma, Utah, Texas, and California.<\/p>
Signature is just the start. Using MoUs to deliver results for business, the UK has already completed working groups with Indiana and North Carolina, which highlighted opportunities in government procurement and offshore wind respectively. The Government will hold expanded sessions with each state involving UK industry later this year.<\/p>"}

Contract spend for the provision of Foundry core platform services to National Health Service organisations was £23.5 million from 12 December 2020 to 11 December 2022, and £11.5 million from December 2022 to June 2023.<\/p>
NHS England is in the process of re-procuring the COVID-19 Data Platform, which is hosted on Foundry, and has recently launched an open tender for a Federated Data Platform and Associated Services. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded to the successful supplier in Autumn 2023.<\/p>
NHS England is undertaking a fair, open and transparent procurement process to re-procure this service. It is inevitable that some form of transition will be required regardless of the successful supplier and as such, it is likely that NHS England will be required to continue to contract with the incumbent supplier to manage this transition.<\/p>"}

I have regular discussions with the Transport Secretary on a range of transport issues, including infrastructure in Wales.<\/p>
We have recently announced a further £2.7 million study with Welsh Government, funded by the UK Government, to develop options for new stations and services on the South Wales Main Line.<\/p>
The study follows Lord Hendy\u2019s recommendations from his review of transport connectivity across the UK, which put forward the need to relieve congestion on the M4. A series of options will be considered as part of this study, among which is the development of five brand new stations between Cardiff and Severn Tunnel.<\/p>"}
