The Department has commissioned an independent evaluation of the Active Travel Fund (tranche 2). As part of this evaluation, there will be an impact evaluation of low traffic neighbourhoods.<\/p>

Britain is leading the G7 in tackling climate change. Between 1990 and 2021 the UK cut emissions by 48% while growing the economy by 65%, decarbonising faster than any other G7 country.
