Active Travel England (ATE) completed its first ever assessment of local authorities\u2019 active travel capability in autumn 2022. Every local transport authority assessed themselves and assigned themselves a rating. These ratings were then moderated by ATE officials to give each authority an assigned capability level.<\/p>
