Defra\u2019s 25 Year Environment Plan (25 YEP) sets out our ambition to sustainably manage our soils by 2030. The 25 YEP indicator framework will measure and evaluate \u2018Healthy Soils\u2019. We are currently funding research to develop these indicators and accompanying monitoring plans. These will further inform policy for tackling soil degradation. We are already taking action to enhance and protect soil. Defra\u2019s Farming Rules for Water protects soil through measures on erosion control and fertiliser application.<\/p>

We expect the first wave of trailblazer mental health support teams to be fully operational by the end of this year.<\/p> <\/p> The wider roll-out will be informed by the evaluation of the initial trailblazers.
