According to the latest data from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council (RBKC), as of 6 June 2019, of the 201 households from Grenfell Tower and Walk that require rehousing, there are currently 14 households in temporary accommodation, and 3 households in emergency accommodation that are have not yet moved into permanent accommodation. Of these 17 households, 7 have not yet accepted an offer of permanent accommodation.
RBKC reports that a suitable property has been reserved for each household. We continue to provide support and challenge to RBKC to ensure every survivor of the Grenfell fire is able to find a home that meets their long-term needs as soon as possible.<\/p>"}

The Government has been clear that building owners must ensure that their buildings are safe. We are consulting on proposals to introduce a safety case approach for multi-occupied residential buildings of 18 metres or more. A safety case approach will require that the person responsible for the building will need to demonstrate to a regulator that they understand and are managing the fire and structural risks in their building adequately. Installing a sprinkler system may be one way of managing fire risks.<\/p>
We also specifically asked for views on the provision of sprinklers in new buildings when we undertook our recent call for evidence ahead of a technical review of the Building Regulations\u2019 fire safety guidance. The call for evidence closed on 15 March and we are currently analysing the responses.<\/p>"}

The Government takes the firm view that consumers must be able to easily access clear and transparent information about their accounts with banks and other financial service companies.<\/p>
<\/p>
UK banks\u2019 and building societies\u2019 treatment of their customers is governed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in its Principles for Businesses. This includes a general requirement for firms to provide a prompt, efficient and fair service to all of their customers. The FCA\u2019s Handbook requires firms to identify particularly vulnerable customers, and to deal with such customers appropriately. This includes older people, the disabled, and those who do not have access to the internet. If a customer does not have access to the internet, then the FCA would expect the customer\u2019s bank to provide or make available paper statements to them instead.<\/p>

Under changes to the Payment Services Regulations (PSRs) which came into force 13 January 2018 and govern the rules around payment accounts, banks are required to provide their customers with certain information, including a monthly statement (so long as there has been a transaction on the account). However, a customer\u2019s terms and conditions must also include a condition that they can require their monthly statement to simply be \u2018made available\u2019 on a durable medium, for example through a secure website, rather than in the form of a physical statement.<\/p>"}

The DWP and DHSC Joint Work and Health Unit is overseeing progress across 40 recommendations that were made in Thriving at Work: The Stevenson / Farmer review of mental health and employers<\/em> published in October 2017 these range from short term deliverables to longer term reform. Government is committed to working with the authors of the review and key stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors to ensure that employers of all sizes act to implement the core and enhanced standards and help them, and their employees, realise the benefits of healthy, inclusive workplaces.<\/p>One of the review\u2019s recommendations was about transparency as a significant opportunity to encourage cultural change around mental health. We have worked with partners, including employers, to develop a framework to support organisations to record and voluntarily report information on disability and mental health in the workplace. This framework was published on 22nd<\/sup> November 2018 and is aimed at large employers with 250 or more employees. To improve information and advice for employers we are working with Mind and the Royal Foundation to continue developing their Mental Health at Work website (https://www.mentalhealthatwork.org.uk<\/a>) which launched on 11th<\/sup> September 2018.<\/p>"}

Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) are under a statutory duty to ensure people who are eligible
to vote in elections have the opportunity to do so. For the recent European Parliamentary elections
that included making sure relevant citizens of the EU who are resident in the UK and registered to
vote in local elections were made aware they needed to complete a voter registration and
declaration form (commonly referred to as a UC1 or EC6 form) in order to enable them to vote<\/p>
The Electoral Commission supported EROs in the discharge of this function and encouraged them
to take additional steps to raise awareness of this requirement locally, through social media
channels and other means.<\/p>
