The North West includes two Highways Agency maintenance areas (10 and 13). It covers the operation of the motorway and trunk road network from the Scottish border in the north, to the Welsh border in the west and as far south as the Midlands. The Highways Agency has spent the following amounts on road maintenance in the North West since 2007/08. The Highways Agency only has financial data from 2007/08 as prior to that the data is not split into specific areas.<\/p>
