The Government has continued to support the automotive sector via a number of routes including the Regional Growth Fund to support individual investment projects and the Advanced Propulsion Centre which is aimed at research and development to bring forward the next generation of low carbon technologies to keep the UK at the cutting edge of low carbon automotive innovations.<\/p>
