The Mental Capacity Assessment requires a two-stage test of capacity.<\/p>
Stage 1<\/strong>. Is there an impairment of, or disturbance in the functioning of a person's mind or brain? This could be due to long-term conditions such as mental illness, dementia, or more temporary states such as confusion, unconsciousness, or the effects of drugs or alcohol and<\/p> Stage 2<\/strong>. Unfortunately, data for 2011 \u2013 2012 is not available.<\/p> <\/p> <\/p> <\/p> Our response to Professor Rosie Meek's independent review of sport and physical activity sets out some of the work we are doing to improve provision of sport and physical activity education in the secure youth estate.
