The latest figures for the replacement of council homes sold under the Right to Buy can be found in the statistical release Right to Buy Sales in England: July to September 2018<\/em> , and show a shortfall of 2,501 replacements against additional sales. This is despite an increase in council housebuilding, and an overall net increase in social housing of 79,000 units since 2010.
