(DCLG Affordable Housing Supply, 2013-14 (16 October 2014), table 2012, Affordable Housing starts and completions funded by the HCA and GLA (20 November 2014). <\/em>We are confident that we will meet the target. My Department does not collect such information.<\/p> <\/p> The removal of the spare room subsidy is estimated to save around £500 million of taxpayers' money in Great Britain in 2014-15 by reducing the benefit bill, helping pay off the budget deficit left by the last Administration. The measure also encourages the more effective use of social housing, by addressing the under-occupation of family homes.<\/p> <\/p> <\/p>"}
