District council representatives were invited to an online seminar held by the Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government on July 27 2021. Thrombectomy is available in 24 centres in England. The National Health Service is committed to increasing the delivery of mechanical thrombectomy to 10% of patients. The latest data available shows that 2.3% of patients are receiving a thrombectomy following a stroke. The Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme is not yet open and remains under development. Officials are working urgently to stand up the remaining elements of the scheme. The first to be resettled through this scheme will be some of those who arrived in the UK under the evacuation programme, which included individuals who were considered to be at particular risk.<\/p>
