This year, £24 million is being invested into the Quality and Outcomes Framework in general practice to strengthen the severe mental illness physical health check indicator set. NHS England is supporting primary care to move towards a digital first approach, where patients can easily access the advice, support and treatment they need using digital and online tools, such as receiving advice, booking and cancelling appointments, having a consultation with a healthcare professional, receiving a referral and obtaining a prescription.<\/p>

As the regulations and published guidance make clear and under the current restrictions, there are still circumstances in which people are allowed to meet others from outside their household, childcare or support bubble in larger groups, but this should not be for socialising and only for permitted purposes. Permitted purposes include facilitating arrangements where children do not live in the same household as both their parents or guardians.<\/p>
As such, someone who is in a support bubble with one of the child\u2019s parents or guardians could collect the child from another household in order to transport them to the household of their other parent or guardian. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, women have been able to have one birth partner of their choice with them during labour and childbirth as long as their birth partner is well and does not have COVID-19 symptoms. The National Health Service is making arrangements to ensure that women are supported and cared for safely through pregnancy, birth and the period afterwards during this pandemic.<\/p>
