We will continue to support high street businesses as they recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>

  • Eligible retail, hospitality and leisure businesses can benefit from 50% businesses rates relief worth almost £1.7 billion in 2022-23.<\/li>
  • \u201cPay as You Grow\u201d options allow Bounce Back Loan borrowers to tailor their repayments to individual circumstances. Businesses have the option to repay their loan over a period of up to ten years, as well as the option to move temporarily to interest-only payments for periods of up to six months or pause their repayments entirely for up to six months.<\/li>
  • Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme lenders can extend the repayment period for CBILS facilities where this is needed, to a maximum of 10 years.<\/li><\/ul>

    Cutting red tape is a central part of the Government\u2019s growth policy. The Government is carrying out a major cross-government drive to reform, repeal and replace outdated retained EU law. This will aim to cut £1 billion of red tape for UK businesses, ease regulatory burdens and contribute to the Government\u2019s mission to unite and level up the country.<\/p>
