In the Fresh Start Agreement, the Government committed to stop welfare deductions for 2015-16 following Assembly approval of a consent motion to enable primary and secondary legislation to the welfare system to proceed at Westminster.<\/p>

This is a transferred matter and is therefore the responsibility of Northern Ireland Executive Ministers.<\/p> The design and publication of polling station schemes for elections in Northern Ireland is an operational matter for the Chief Electoral Officer for Northern Ireland.<\/p> The Chief Electoral Officer published a consultation on a proposed polling station scheme for use at the May 2016 Assembly elections on 19 November with a closing date of 11 February 2016. The Chief Electoral Officer intends to publish the final scheme in the first week of March. Details of the consultation may be found on the Electoral Office website at: http://www.eoni.org.uk/News/Publication-of-Proposed-Amendments-to-the-Poll-(1)<\/a>.<\/p> The Government is focused on delivering a successful renegotiation: it believes it can and will succeed in reforming and renegotiating our relationship with the EU and campaigning to keep the UK in the EU on that basis.<\/p> I meet regularly with NI Executive Ministers, business leaders and third sector representatives to discuss a range of issues and will continue to do so.<\/p> Regional allocations of EU funding are set over seven-year periods, for example, the previous period ran from 2007-2013.<\/p> The information requested can be found in the financing plans for the respective programmes funded by the EU. The Executive expect full implementation of VES to deliver around £500 million in annual savings, which can be deployed to other public services.<\/p> The Government also agreed to allow the Executive increased access to RRI borrowing to fund £350 million of capital projects, over four years. This funding is for economic projects.<\/p> The Government was elected in May with a clear mandate to implement its manifesto commitment to replace the Human Rights Act with a British Bill of Rights.<\/p> We believe that it is entirely possible to do that in ways that are consistent with the Belfast Agreement.<\/p>"}
