In response to a) each specific grade<\/strong><\/p> <\/p> DWP published its Gender Pay Gap report showing an overall mean pay gap of 5.3%. As set out within the narrative of the report DWP is working hard towards reducing this pay gap further.<\/p> <\/em><\/p> Across our more junior grades we are transforming our pay structures, moving towards a single rate of pay within each grade, which currently results in a mean gender pay gap of 0.4% across grades AA-HEO. This will reduce even further as we start to reach these spot rates by 2019.<\/p> <\/p> The gender pay gap by grade is set out below. The new loan scheme will provide exactly the same level of support and, thus, exactly the same level of protection against repossession. Claimants and mortgage lenders will not see any difference in the payments they receive and so there is no need to make any general transitional provisions.<\/p> <\/p> Some specific transitional provisions have been put in place which will allow for existing benefit payments to remain in place for a temporary period. These will apply if there are administrative delays in migrating some claimants to the new scheme or where there are difficulties in appointing someone to act on the claimant\u2019s behalf.<\/p>"}
