The Youth Justice Board intends to extend the contract with G4S at Rainsbrook Secure Training Centre for five months to ensure a smooth transfer to the new provider.
During this period MTCnovo's mobilisation team will work on site with G4S to manage the transfer.
YJB staff will also work on site with both MTCnovo and G4S to monitor the progress of mobilisation and transformation and to ensure young people are accommodated in a safe and stable environment throughout.<\/p>"}

The majority of unaccompanied children applying for permission to remain in the UK will be seeking asylum, and are therefore able to apply for legal aid. Legal aid also remains available for immigration advice for victims of trafficking and modern slavery, including child victims.<\/p>

Applications for non-asylum immigration cases involve the provision of factual information and accompanying evidence, so lawyers are not usually required.<\/p>

Civil legal aid has been retained for the highest priority cases, where life or liberty is at stake, where there is a risk of serious physical harm, loss of home, or where children may be removed from a family. The cargo ship Sunflower E was arrested by the Admiralty Marshal (an employee of Her Majesty\u2019s Courts and Tribunals Service) pursuant to an arrest warrant issued in the Admiralty Court and is subject to ongoing court proceedings in the High Court. It has been under arrest since 10th<\/sup> March. I can confirm that the crew were repatriated on the 29 June by the International Transport Workers Federation. Whilst the crew were on board, the Admiralty Marshal ensured that they were provided with provision such as food, water and fuel throughout the period of detention of the vessel. The crew were free to leave the vessel at any point.<\/p> The vessel will remain under arrest until the vessel is sold or released by the Claimants.<\/p>"}
