Once a valid, in time application has been made to the Home Office for permission to stay (leave to remain) or settlement (indefinite leave to remain) and their permission expires, section 3C will automatically extend their permission, including any conditions, until the application is decided or withdrawn and during any time that an appeal or administrative review may be brought or is pending.<\/p> The Home Office cannot provide the data without disproportionate cost.
