While the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is responsible for the sports grounds safety legislation, responsibility for the safety of spectators lies at all times with the ground management of individual sports grounds. Certifying and regulating those sports grounds is primarily a matter for individual local authorities.<\/p>
