Regional awards of £1.8 billion Growth Deal funding were announced at Autumn Statement. £556 million will go to the North of England, £392 million to Local Enterprise Partnerships in the Midlands, £151 million to the East of England, £492 million to London and the South East, and £191 million to the South West. A final announcement of individual awards to Local Enterprise Partnerships will be made by government in the coming weeks. This funding of local infrastructure will improve transport connections, unlock house building, boost skills, and enhance digital connectivity.<\/p>"}
