The minimum income guarantee (MIG) will increase in line with inflation, by 6.7%, from 6 April 2024. The revised rates were published in the 2024 Local Authority Circular on 9 February. The MIG rates are reviewed annually. HM Revenue and Customs regularly published statistics on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS).<\/p>

https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/coronavirus-job-retention-scheme-statistics-august-2020<\/a>.<\/p> These statistics report that employers classified under Passenger air transport and Freight air transport and space transport (Standard Industry Classification 2007, groups 51.1 and 51.2) claimed £283 million for staff on furlough between the start of the scheme and 31 July 2020.<\/p> <\/p> Statistics published on 3 June 2021 report that employers in the Passenger air transport and Freight air transport and space transport sectors claimed £295 million from 1 November 2020 to 30 April 2021.
