Effective use of the UK Aid budget is central to the Department for International Development\u2019s work. Between 2014 and 2016, DFID has provided nearly £8 million to support humanitarian assistance to Rohingya refugees and the vulnerable host communities that support them.<\/p>
Prior to this influx, DFID committed a further £5.9 million to meet the needs of the most vulnerable refugees and the host communities that support them.<\/p>

DFID\u2019s UK estate comprises two joint-headquarters, 22 Whitehall in London and Abercrombie House in Glasgow. DFID\u2019s current energy supplier for both offices are EDF Energy for electricity. The Government has been responding to the humanitarian needs as they have been identified by our teams on the ground and the local authorities. Recent assessments indicate that markets are opening in the region and we are keen to support these.
