EU Exit is an all-of-government operation, and the Government wants to see the UK leave the EU with a deal.<\/p>

However, the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU) has done detailed work with departments, including the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales on preparing for a No-Deal scenario.<\/p>

Wylfa Newydd remains a suitable site for nuclear new build in the future. The site is still owned by Hitachi, and the UK Government remains in discussions with them regarding its future.<\/p>
