The Department is aware that the supplier of FemSeven Sequi patches is experiencing long term supply issues. As a result, they are expected to be out of stock until late 2019. We remain in regular contact with the company to resolve this as soon as possible.<\/p>

In England, it is the responsibility of National Health Service commissioners to make decisions on individual urinary continence care on the basis of the available evidence, taking into account guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and NHS England where available. In July 2018 NHS England published revised guidance for commissioners to support the development of high-quality continence services. NICE guidance is always evidence based, adhering to the latest clinical thinking and research to determine the best treatment for patients.<\/p>"} , "answeringMember" : {"_about" : "http://data.parliament.uk/members/4455", "label" : {"_value" : "Biography information for Seema Kennedy"} } , "answeringMemberConstituency" : {"_value" : "South Ribble"} , "answeringMemberPrinted" : {"_value" : "Seema Kennedy"} , "dateOfAnswer" : {"_value" : "2019-05-24", "_datatype" : "dateTime"} , "isMinisterialCorrection" : {"_value" : "false", "_datatype" : "boolean"} , "questionFirstAnswered" : [{"_value" : "2019-05-24T13:53:02.897Z", "_datatype" : "dateTime"} ]} , "answeringDeptId" : {"_value" : "17"} , "answeringDeptShortName" : {"_value" : "Health and Social Care"} , "answeringDeptSortName" : {"_value" : "Health and Social Care"} , "date" : {"_value" : "2019-05-16", "_datatype" : "dateTime"} , "hansardHeading" : {"_value" : "Incontinence"} , "houseId" : {"_value" : "1"} , "legislature" : [{"_about" : "http://data.parliament.uk/terms/25259", "prefLabel" : {"_value" : "House of Commons"} } ], "questionText" : "To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to improve urinary continence care in the NHS.", "registeredInterest" : {"_value" : "false", "_datatype" : "boolean"} , "tablingMember" : {"_about" : "http://data.parliament.uk/members/4523", "label" : {"_value" : "Biography information for Catherine West"} } , "tablingMemberConstituency" : {"_value" : "Hornsey and Wood Green"} , "tablingMemberPrinted" : [{"_value" : "Catherine West"} ], "uin" : "255356"} ], "itemsPerPage" : 10, "next" : "http://eldaddp.azurewebsites.net/answeredquestions.text?_page=1&answeringDeptId=17&min-date=2019-05-16&AnsweringBody.=Department+of+Health+and+Social+Care&answer.dateOfAnswer=2019-05-24&min-answer.questionFirstAnswered.=2019-05-24T11%3A48%3A27.563Z", "page" : 0, "startIndex" : 1, "totalResults" : 14, "type" : ["http://purl.org/linked-data/api/vocab#ListEndpoint", "http://purl.org/linked-data/api/vocab#Page"]} }
