For example, in June the Global Environment Facility (GEF), to which the UK is a major donor, approved $88 million of funding to the Amazon Sustainable Landscapes Programme to protect this ecosystem. GEF programming is guided by its\u202fPrinciples and Guidelines for Engagement with Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Peoples Advisory Group.<\/p>"}
