However, the DVLA does operate three premium rate phone lines. One phone line allows car hire companies to check the entitlement to drive of those wishing to hire vehicles where needed. The revenue which DVLA receives covers the cost of providing this service to commercial companies.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>The other two numbers allow customers to use translation services when contacting DVLA.
