It is currently jointly owned by the Home Office and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC), until Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) take full ownership. <br><br>As the Home Secretary said in her speech on 20 October, it is for PCCs to take immediate decisions on the specific functions of the company, and the development of a collective approach to managing and procuring police ICT. Local policing decisions, including on IT, are best made locally, by those accountable to the communities that the police serve.<\/p><p> <\/p>"}
