answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/01/2024 answer text <p>Environmental land management schemes include financial incentives for actions that are beneficial for barn owls, for example, the provision of nesting boxes. Through the Green Recovery Challenge Fund, the Government granted £123,700 to the Game &amp; Wildlife Conservation Trust’s Owl Box Initiative. The project was set up to help support barn owls by providing nest boxes for them on farms and researching barn owls’ farmland habitat use across the southwest of England.</p><p>Furthermore, from July this year, restrictions on the open use of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides will be brought into force to avoid negative impacts on non-target species such as barn owls.</p><p>We have no records of any actions for this species specific to the Romford area.</p> answering member constituency Taunton Deane answering member printed Rebecca Pow question first answered 22/01/2024 16:03:37 answering member 4522 label Biography information for Rebecca Pow

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2015 answer text <p>To improve procurement efficiencies in the schools sector the Department for Education works closely with the Crown Commercial Service and other public sector buying organisations to create deals which better meet school needs. Schools procurement guidance is available on GOV.UK together with practical steps that schools can take such as, encouraging schools to share market intelligence, expertise, and buying common items collaboratively to achieve economies of scale from the supply market.</p><p> </p><p>The department works closely with representative school groups such as the Association of School and College Leaders and the National Association of School Business Managers to raise awareness of good deals available for schools and the benefits of adopting best practice procurement.
