answer text <p>When the pandemic started Government put in place emergency agreements with operators to mitigate the financial impacts resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and ensure that rail services could continue to operate. These agreements transferred most financial risk to Government.</p><p> </p><p>Strikes can cause revenue losses up to £25 million on typical weekdays and £15 million on typical weekends, though losses depend on factors such as the nature of industrial action and unions involved.</p> more like this

We condemn the Houthis' continual attacks on civilians in Yemen and their cross-border attacks against Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and we stand in solidarity with our Gulf partners.
