	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/04/2018 answer text <p>All scientific surveys undertaken through the Blue Belt programme are designed in line with international best practice, and undertake consideration of all potential impacts together with mitigation measures to limit such impacts, pre-deployment. There was no by-catch in 2016-17. There were no incidental mortalities of turtle or seabird species as a result of the scientific surveys undertaken through the Blue Belt programme in either 2016-17 or 2017-18.
