This means that senior clinicians will be able to prescribe the medicines to patients with an exceptional clinical need.</p><p>The Department of Health and Social Care and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency will now develop a clear definition of what constitutes a cannabis-derived medicinal product. Only products meeting this definition will be rescheduled. Other forms of cannabis will be kept under strict controls and will not be available on prescription. This makes clear that applications must be made by senior clinicians who are on the General Medical Council’s relevant specialist register with an active license to practise.</p><p>The Department for Health and Social Care is working with NHS England and equivalents in the devolved nations to ensure that cannabis based medicinal products are sourced and supplied where a licence is granted. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/07/2017 answer text <p>On 22 June the Prime Minister announced a full public inquiry into the events at Grenfell Tower, to be chaired by Sir Martin Moore-Bick. The Inquiry is designed to ascertain the causes of the tragedy and ensure that the appropriate lessons are learned.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government announced a new panel of independent experts to advise Government on the immediate action that is required so the public can be confident everything possible is being done to make sure all buildings are safe as quickly as possible.
