	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/04/2019 answer text <p>UK traders that only trade with the EU will need an EORI number in the event the UK leaves the EU without a deal. HM Revenue &amp; Customs (HMRC) estimated that in 2017 there were 144,000 VAT-registered traders that only traded with the EU. A separate estimate indicates there are around 100,000 non VAT-registered traders that trade only with the EU. Latest HMRC validated data show that in the three months to 15 March, there were more than 59,000 registrations for an EORI number.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recently announced temporary simplified procedures to make importing and exporting easier. To register for these simplifications, traders will need a UK EORI number. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/04/2019 answer text <p>​We wish to see those who have fought for or supported Daesh in Iraq or Syria, whatever their nationality, brought to justice for their crimes in accordance with due legal process in the most appropriate jurisdiction. If a UK national returns from Syria, it is for the police and Crown Prosecution Service to decide if they should be prosecuted, which is a decision partly based on the available evidence. Individuals can be convicted in UK courts of offences committed overseas (including preparation of terrorism, encouragement of terrorism and membership of a proscribed organisation). We are aware of reported discussions between the detaining authorities in north-east Syria and the Iraqi authorities about possible transfer of Iraqi nationals for prosecution in Iraqi courts. We are not aware of any such discussions with the Syrian regime. DFID has undertaken a detailed prioritisation exercise to assess the internal resource required to maintain essential delivery. For DFID, this entails meeting the legal commitment to spend 0.7% of GNI (Gross National Income) on international development in an effective and value for money way and the ability to respond to humanitarian emergencies. All other DFID business is highly important however officials have taken decisions to slow or pause delivery in order to support the EU exit related resource requirements of other government departments.
