The VOA does not report on a separate cost specifically attributed to the revaluation. The Agency’s most recent annual report and accounts are available at: <a href="http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/valuation-office-agency-annual-report-and-accounts-2016-2017" target="_blank">www.gov.uk/government/publications/valuation-office-agency-annual-report-and-accounts-2016-2017</a></p><p>The Government aims to move to more frequent business rates revaluations. It has given councils the flexibility to support vulnerable groups, including care leavers, to help manage their council tax bills. We wrote to all councils in 2016 to remind them of the powers they had under the Local Government Finance Act 1992 to support vulnerable groups.
