	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2015 answer text <p>The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills has not held any meetings with external stakeholders to discuss the findings of the research study into pregnancy and maternity-related discrimination. Officials from the Department have participated in round table meetings with stakeholders which have been organised by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). These meetings, and the research findings, will inform the EHRC’s recommendations to Government.</p><p>Pregnancy and maternity discrimination is unlawful and unacceptable, which is why the Government and the EHRC jointly funded independent research into the perceived problem. This is the largest research of its kind to be undertaken in Great Britain. A key criterion for allocating the £4.6billion per year of research funding is “maintaining a substantial flow of new researchers and high level skills”. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2015 answer text <p>Sustainable fuels already form an important part of our energy mix and are contributing to the decarbonisation of the UK economy.</p><br /><p>During 2014 just under a fifth of renewable electricity generation came from bioenergy; bioenergy also forms about 94% of our total renewable heat generation; and in transport the Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) ensures that just under 5% of transport fuel comes from sustainable biofuels.</p><br /><p>The 2011 Carbon Plan set out a range of scenarios for how the UK could reduce emissions. This considered the role of renewable technologies under the different scenarios. The data in the table has been provided by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and is not held by the Home Office. MoJ Court Proceedings Database holds information on defendants proceeded against, found guilty and sentenced for criminal offences in England and Wales.</p><p>The Regulations only allowed for employees to be served with a Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) under Regulation 13. The sanction against employers under Regulation 12 was prosecution through the Courts. The Home Office does not hold Management Information for this period which would explain why the prosecution numbers are low. Management information in Table 2 shows the number of FPNs notified to the Home Office as having been served in each of the financial years the Accession (Immigration and Worker Authorisation) Regulations 2006 were in force.</p><p>The Home Office has no record of any Fixed Penalty Notices being issued to Croatian nationals working in breach of the Accession of Croatia (Immigration and Worker Authorisation) Regulations 2013. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2015 answer text <p>The Government has committed to resettling 20,000 Syrian refugees in the lifetime of this Parliament. The Prime Minister has said that we want to see 1,000 Syrian refugees brought to the UK by Christmas. We use the established UNHCR process for identifying and resettling refugees and have been working closely with them to achieve a significant uplift in the scheme.</p><p>The UK collaborates closely with the major countries involved in resettlement, notably the US, Australia and Canada. In the expansion of the UK Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme we have worked with the US Government to take 500 people from the UNHCR’s pool of registered refugees that might otherwise have been passed to the US for consideration.
