star this property answer text <p>If landlords have a domestic electricity meter point, they will receive £400 through the Energy Bills Support Scheme. The Government encourages landlords to pass the payment to tenants to ensure it is reflected in tenants’ inclusive charges or separate bill payments. star this property answer text <p>The Government is committed to improving the energy performance of homes across the country, including in Birmingham, Selly Oak.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is already investing £6.6 billion over this parliament on decarbonising heat and energy efficiency measures.</p><p> </p><p>An additional £6 billion of new Government funding, announced in the Autumn Statement, will be made available from 2025 to 2028. star this property answer text <p>Households that meet the eligibility criteria are able to receive the Warm Home Discount this winter.</p><p> </p><p>In England and Wales, a household must either be in receipt of the Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or both in receipt of a relevant means-tested benefit and living in a property that has high costs to heat on the basis of its property characteristics. More efficient homes are less likely to meet the high costs criterion.</p><p> </p><p>In Scotland, a household must either be in receipt of the Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or apply to their energy supplier and satisfy the supplier’s eligibility criteria for a rebate under the Broader Group.</p> more like this
