For example, we support, through core and bilateral funding, some of the key UN agencies involved in IDP response, including the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the International Organisation for Migration. The UK supports the urgent diplomatic efforts being made by Turkey and the UN. We call on the Syrian regime and its backers, Russia and Iran, to uphold the de-escalation arrangements they have previously agreed, and for all parties to respect international humanitarian law, including protection of all civilians without discrimination. We are providing additional humanitarian assistance and medical support to Idlib. As announced in the government's Industrial Strategy, the new Business Basics Programme will trial innovative approaches to drive up the adoption of tried and tested technologies and business practices that can improve businesses’ productivity. The programme will test and encourage SMEs to adopt technologies and practices such as new accountancy software or performance management systems.</p><p>In addition, more than four million free digital skills training opportunities will be created as part of a Digital Strategy to make Britain the best place in the world to start and grow a digital business and ensure our digital economy works for everyone.</p><p>In addition, the Digital Skills Partnership (DSP) will see Government, business, charities and voluntary organisations coming together to make sure people have the right skills for the jobs in their area and are aware of all the digital training opportunities on offer.</p><p>The DSP will also build upon the 4 million pledges of free digital skills training opportunities that our corporate partners pledged as part of the Digital Strategy, published in March 2017. This is why we work closely with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees which has well-established procedures and criteria for identifying and resettling the most vulnerable refugees.</p><p>The refugees that we are bringing to the United Kingdom are very vulnerable people. Our primary concern is their safety and protection as they arrive here. We believe that one way to protect their privacy and enable their recovery and integration is to limit the amount of information about them that we make publicly available. This is why we work closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), which has well-established procedures and criteria for identifying and resettling the most vulnerable refugees. Apart from the criteria we set for each scheme, we do not seek to influence which cases are referred to us by UNHCR.</p><p>However, we recognise how important it is that UNHCR is accessible to the most vulnerable refugees, including members of minority religions, and this is why we are working with UNHCR and their partners to intensify their outreach to groups that might otherwise be reluctant to register. This includes people in formal refugee camps, informal settlements and host communities.
