unstar this property answer text <p>Figures published in the Whole of Government Accounts show that during the period of April 2015 to March 2016 there were 1,787 exits paid at over £100,000, costing £0.2bn. There were 5,439 exit payments paid at between £50,000 and £100,000 costing £0.3bn, of which a portion may have been more than £95,000. The Whole of Government Accounts figures for the period since the Enterprise Act 2016 came into force, on May 4 2016, are not yet available and no separate estimate has been made.</p> more like this
