	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2014 answer text <p>Prison numbers fluctuate throughout the yearand we have sufficient accommodation for the current and expected population</p><p> </p><p>Sensible measures have been taken to ensure that we will have sufficient capacity to deal with the projected level of the population. These measures include identifying additional places in prisons that can provide safe and decent conditions if required.. The information requested for the last five years is not centrally held in the form requested and would incur disproportionate cost to provide. However, details of all spending over £250 are available on my Department’s website as part of our transparency data.</p><p> </p><p>I would add that we have recently adopted a shared services model with other departments, with our legal function being undertaken by Treasury Solicitors and our procurement being undertaken by the Crown Commercial Service. However, the Department does routinely publish details of the ‘Outsourced Programme Managed Services' in its annual resource accounts.
