	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2017 answer text <p>Numbers of units of e-cigarettes, vaping products and tobacco items sold in prisons in England and Wales in each month for the last year are as set out in the attached annex.</p><p>Prisons are rolling out the smoke free policy, subject to a series of assessments which will test the operational stability, readiness and health readiness of the prisons to implement the policy in a safe, decent and secure way. Where this amounts to a criminal offence, prisoners should expect to be investigated by the police and face more serious sanctions.</p><p>We are committed to improving safety across the prison estate and are already taking action. Good progress is being made to hit this target, with 1,970 additional officers recruited by 31<sup>st</sup> December 2017. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/12/2017 answer text <p>The CRC Contract Management Group in the HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) Directorate of Community Interventions is responsible for managing the 20 CRC contracts in England. The Group currently operates with an annual budget of £5,302,127, and 80.19 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) staff.</p><p> </p><p>Contract Management of Wales CRC is the responsibility of HMPPS in Wales, and currently employs 4.25 FTE staff for this purpose, with an annual budget of £233,000.</p><p> </p><p>The contracts with CRCs require each CRC to ensure that it employs a sufficient level of staff, and that its workforce is competent and adequately trained. This was an important first step in returning the bank to private ownership, which is the right thing to do for the taxpayer and for British businesses: it will promote financial stability, lead to a more competitive banking sector, and support the interests of the wider economy.</p><p> </p><p>The government will conduct further sales of RBS shares subject to market conditions, and in doing so will maximise value for the taxpayer.
