	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>Automatic enrolment has achieved a quiet revolution through getting employees into the habit of pension saving, and reversing the decline in workplace pension participation in the decade prior to these reforms. Workplace pension participation rates are being transformed with 87% of eligible employees saving into one in 2018, up from 55% in 2012.</p><p> </p><p>The DWP does not hold data for individual constituencies in relation to opt outs or the number of individuals who have saved above the automatic enrolment minimum contribution level. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2019 answer text <p>People who claim Universal Credit due to having a health condition or disability, and have been determined to have limited capability for work (LCW) or limited capability for work and work related activity (LCWRA) following a work capability assessment, may be entitled to an additional amount of benefit. However, the additional amount for having LCW is not payable for a health related claim made on or after 3 April 2017. Only health related claims made on or after that date and where the claimant is determined as having LCWRA will have access to an additional amount of benefit.</p><p> </p><p>The additional amount for having LCWRA may only become payable from the beginning of the assessment period following the assessment period in which the relevant period ends. The relevant period is the 3 month period starting from the first day on which the claimant provides evidence of their having a health condition or disability which limits their capability for work. This means that all claimants who are determined to have LCWRA - with some exceptions, for example where the claimant is terminally ill and is not expected to live for more than 6 months - have to serve a three month relevant period.</p><p> </p><p>The relevant period is used, before payment of the additional amount for having LCWRA can be made, to establish that the claimant has a long-term health condition or disability. Improved automation supports timely action across DWP service areas with clearance routinely completing within 24 hours of receipt. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/10/2019 answer text <p>I have no plans to expand the eligibility criteria for Access to Work.</p><p> </p><p>Access to Work is a grant that provides practical and financial support for individuals whose health or disability affects the way that they do their job. The type of support is tailored to an individual’s needs and can include travel to work, support workers, communication support and specialist aids and equipment for the individual, as well as advice for employers and awareness raising sessions for their staff.</p><p> </p><p>Access to Work does not replace the duty an employer has under the Equality Act to make reasonable adjustments. Instead it provides support that is over and above that which is a reasonable adjustment.</p><p> </p><p>To be eligible for this grant, the person must be in work or about to enter work. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/10/2019 answer text <p>The government is committed to enhancing the stewardship role of financial institutions, in particular asset managers. This includes their responsibility to monitor and actively engage with the companies they invest in and hold such companies to account on material issues.</p><p> </p><p>The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has consulted on a revised Stewardship Code which will set high expectations on institutional investors about how they allocate, manage and oversee capital on behalf of their beneficiaries and clients. Signatories will need to report on how they have considered material environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, and how directors of the companies they invest in have applied section 172 of the Companies Act, in their investment and stewardship decision-making. The revised Code will be published later in 2019.</p><p> </p><p>The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the FRC have also published a joint discussion on paper on stewardship, which seeks to advance the debate about what effective stewardship should look like, what the minimum expectations should be for financial services firms who invest for clients and beneficiaries, the standards the UK should aspire to and how these might best be achieved.
