This helps pay for food, shelter and training for up to 12 months. <br>• Work upstream in ODA countries to build capacity and capability to improve security, protect the vulnerable and tackle modern slavery. <br>• CSSF-funded activity to tackle organised immigration crime through the Organised Immigration Crime Taskforce, and to save lives at sea through the deployment of Border Force vessels in the Mediterranean.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Home Office does not centrally hold the information requested.</p><p>From April 2017 the Home Office requested information on a voluntary basis from police forces on the number of individuals released on pre-charge bail following arrest, broken down by bail length.</p><p>Data received from 17 police forces has been published within the ‘Police powers and procedures, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin, for the 2017/18 financial year. These figures provide an incomplete picture and can be accessed here: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/police-powers-and-procedures-england-and-wales-year-ending-31-march-2018" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/police-powers-and-procedures-england-and-wales-year-ending-31-march-2018</a></p><p>Data on the number of individuals released on pre-charge bail following arrest, have been requested on a mandatory basis from April 2018, and are intended for publication in the next edition of the ‘Police powers and procedures, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin, due for release on 24 October 2019.</p><p>The police retain the ability to use pre-charge bail where necessary and proportionate, including to protect witnesses and victims.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The importance of submitting checks for overseas convictions is widely recognised and has been the focus of attention within the Home Office and with policing partners for some time. UK Policing has issued guidance to support forces in the management of Foreign National Offenders to increase the number of overseas conviction checks submitted. This guidance was supported by extensive outreach campaigns to educate officers.</p><p>Individual force performance is one of the issues reviewed regularly at senior levels within the Home Office Foreign Criminality Programme. This programme has driven a range of activity to improve engagement between Police and Immigration colleagues and drive up the incidence of police conducting criminality checks routinely in relation to the foreign nationals they encounter.</p> more like this

The story explained the significance of the event and that the day shone a positive light on male role models, fatherhood and men’s issues.</p><p>It also highlighted the importance of good mental health for men. The story included an audio interview with a member of staff who discussed his experience of adoption and fatherhood.
