star this property answer text <br /> <br /><p>We are advised by NHS England that Goodwood Court Medical Practice in Hove closed in June 2015 after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) took immediate action to remove the practice’s registration with the regulator. This was in order to protect the safety and welfare of patients following the findings of a CQC inspection at the practice.</p><br /><p>NHS England subsequently agreed an interim contract with doctors from the Charter Medical Centre to ensure ongoing care could be provided to affected patients following the closure of the Goodwood Court practice.</p><br /><p>The current arrangements with Charter Medical Centre, for the care of former Goodwood Court patients, are due to come to an end on 31 March 2016.</p><br /><p>NHS England has recently written to patients and local stakeholders asking for their views which will help to inform future care for patients of Goodwood Court.</p><br /> more like this

star this property answer text <br /><p>As announced in the 2015 Spending Review, in order to prioritise funding to allow the core adult skills participation budgets to be protected in cash terms, savings are being made from the supporting budgets including the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES).</p><br /><p>Whitehall Departments will be withdrawing their funding for UKCES during the 2016-17 financial year. star this property answer text <br /><p>Employer designed apprenticeship standards focus on the knowledge, skills and behaviour required to achieve full competence in an individual occupation. There is no requirement for employers to replicate particular frameworks or pathways within them, as the priority is creating apprenticeships that meet employers’ needs. To ensure we can track developments in apprenticeship standards – for example, take up in particular sectors or regions – we are currently maintaining the current sector subject area classifications and allocate new standards to them to ensure continuity with previously recorded data.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <br /><p>Higher Education Institutions have clear responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 to support their students, including those with disabilities. <br></p><p>The Independent Office for Fair Access (OFFA) has agreed 183 Access Agreements for 2016/17 with plans for Universities to spend more than £745 million on measures to improve access and student success for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, up from £404m in 2009/10. HEIs choose their own access agreement measures and targets, in line with their own particular mission and challenges and these can include targets on disability where appropriate.</p><br /> <br /> more like this

star this property answer text <br /><p>It is anticipated that the first stage of the £480 million redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital site will be completed and start to be used for the treatment of patients in the spring of 2020.This includes 316 inpatient beds forneurology, neurosurgery, stroke, medicine, care of the elderly, critical care and assessment beds to support the hospital’s Emergency Department. This will greatly improve the accommodation for patients in Brighton &amp; Hove, across Sussex and beyond.</p><br /><p>Patients will start to see the benefits of the redevelopment in April 2016 when the temporary facilities currently being built on the hospital site start to come into operation.</p> more like this
